AFMC is happy to report that the recent upgrades to the Student Portal are yielding positive results for learners across the country. To date,

AFMC is committed to providing more frequent and direct opportunities to connect with learners across the country and across medical education continuum.

As part of this effort, the Association is excited to pilot a new series of learning and discussion sessions, called Learner Connect.  These will consist of high impact 60-minute virtual calls where content experts provide updates on important topics relevant to learners, followed by an open session for general questions and discussion.

The first Learner Connect session will cover the new Student Portal and is scheduled for Wednesday evening, September 24, 2025. Join AFMC CEO and program staff to learn about how the new system is working and how access to electives might be improved even further.

Save the date and register here to secure your spot for the first session!

AFMC also welcomes topic ideas from learners for the future Learner Connect session. Feel free to reach out to communications@afmc.ca
