AFMC is here to help
you navigate it.
With MEDPREPP you’ll come to understand why each stage of academic medicine journey is important, how to carry it out, and when to complete it.
Here is the why, how, and when, of MEDPREPP.
The path to and through medical school can sometimes feel like a giant secret. We want to uncover hidden curriculums, identify important resources and define the steps—so you don’t have to do the guess work.
We aim to work with learners, graduates, MDs, and faculty members to map out the entire academic medicine journey—making it clear what the journey looks like, and what resources are helpful along the way.
Although we have launched, and the pathway has been successfully mapped, we will continue to add valuable resources and foster partnerships to support learners in any stage of their journey.
Explore each step and option within the academic medicine process, including their duration, objective, and desired outcome.
This is only the beginning. Explore our current resources in order from pre-med to doctorate.
