Are you a medical student or resident who is passionate about improving the resources available to medical learners in Canada? Consider joining AFMC in the development of its new pan-national learner resource hub, called MEDPREPP.

MEDPREPP is a growing online platform that currently houses AFMC’s Student Portal, CANPREPP, and Future MD Canada. The goal is to continue improving these resources and to develop others in order to provide a truly comprehensive, centralized tool that helps learners navigate medical education, from aspirancy to through to postgraduate training.

The MEDPREPP Learner Advisory Group will play a critical role in the planning and development of this expanding tool. In the spirit of user-centred design, AFMC is seeking domestic and international medical students (including graduate students) and residents to provide input.

The anticipated time commitment is 2-3 hours per month, from fall 2025 through spring 2026. Members of the inaugural MEDPREPP Learner Advisory Group will meet monthly and will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and leaders in medical education from across the country – and will shape a national initiative that will serve current and future generations of medical learners.

If you are interested in joining or would like to learn more, please reach out to our Senior Manager of Programs and Special Projects, Nada Strathearn at nstrathearn@afmc.ca
